If basketball is your purpose, you are not living life to the fullest!
Your purpose should be the reason you live your life.
Goals are things you set to help you achieve a purpose, and plans are things you make to help you achieve your goals.
Keep the main thing the main thing,

But there are only 24 hours in a day, and you can’t spend them all focusing only on basketball. It can be your passion, but too much of a thing isn’t good and could lead to burnout. You could end up not wanting to play basketball altogether.
NBA Guard says you should have other options besides hoops.
NBA Guard Cj McCollum had some great advice for one of the top pick in the nba draft. You should always have other outlets. Even at the highest level of basketball not having other goals and a purpose can effect you life and mental health.
NBA Guard Cj McCollum told rookie Tre Johnson, “ If you don’t have an escape you will go crazy”

Some nights I spent crying in agony, overwhelmed, and thinking I would never make my goals a reality. I was in my own head and never gave myself the space to get away from the game. I still struggle with this today. It can be hard not to make basketball your sole reason for being on the earth. Stress needs an outlet to refocus and look at why you are doing what you’re doing. Your reason for being here
Knowing what your purpose is is knowing who you are
Wise people look to understand themselves just as much, or maybe even more so, than they understand their passion.
